In a Special Operations community that used to be known for its secrecy, yet another public version of the killing of Osama bin Laden has emerged. First, there were the descriptions by our country's political leaders and press accounts. Then came the version described in the book No Easy Day by former Navy SEAL "Mark Owen." Next came the description of events by a former Navy SEAL called "The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden" in Esquire magazine. Now, we have the version described by a Navy SEAL interviewed by Peter Bergen, as described here:
